Fair Usage Policy

Fair Use Policy (FUP)

This Fair Use Policy (“FUP”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Service

provided by NetClick. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that all customers enjoy

a consistent, reliable, and high-quality internet experience.

  1. Purpose of Fair Use

Our Services are delivered over a shared network. This means that individual usage

can affect the overall experience of other customers. The FUP ensures that:

  • No single customer unfairly degrades network performance;
  • Bandwidth is managed responsibly during peak times;
  • All customers benefit equitably from the capacity of our network.

  1. Principles of Fair Usage

While most customers use our Services considerately, certain activities may cause

excessive strain on network resources. Examples include:

  • Continuous high-volume downloads or uploads;
  • Running servers, peer-to-peer (P2P) or torrent services excessively;
  • Activities that consume disproportionate bandwidth compared to average residential or business use.

  1. Management of Network Resources

To maintain service quality, we may, at our sole discretion, implement measures such

as:

  • Shaping or throttling certain types of traffic during peak demand periods;
  • Setting usage thresholds to prevent network abuse;
  • Prioritising essential traffic (e.g. video calls, streaming, browsing) over non-essential or abusive usage;
  • Notifying customers whose usage patterns consistently exceed fair levels.

  1. Thresholds and Monitoring

We reserve the right to apply reasonable usage thresholds specific to your product

package.

Customers who exceed these thresholds may experience slower speeds, shaping, or

temporary restrictions.

In extreme or repeat cases, Services may be suspended or terminated.

(Note: Product-specific thresholds, if applicable, will be communicated via our website, customer portal, or in writing.)

  1. Unacceptable Use under FUP

Examples of usage that may violate this Policy include:

  • Continuous operation of high-traffic servers on a residential package;
  • Bandwidth consumption that is significantly higher than the average usage of other customers on the same package;
  • Activities that interfere with or degrade the experience of other customers.

  1. Enforcement

Failure to comply with this FUP may result in:

  • Warnings or notifications;
  • Traffic shaping or throttling;
  • Suspension or termination of Services;
  • All actions will be taken at our sole discretion, with the aim of protecting the network and ensuring fair access for all.

  1. Amendments

We may update this FUP periodically. Any material changes will be communicated to

customers via email and/or posted on our website.
